Shipbuilding and naval procurement gain momentum

Transpetro has signed a US$ 427 million contract for the construction of four vessels at Estaleiro Rio Grande, reinforcing Brazil’s shipbuilding recovery and the strategic relevance of domestic maritime capacity.

In parallel, Emgepron has launched a procurement process for supply and support boats for the Tamandaré-class frigates, advancing another stage of Brazil’s naval modernization program.
