São Paulo State regulates the Single Debt Certificate, issued jointly by the State Revenue Department and the State Attorney General’s Office

Joint Resolution SFP-PGE No. 1/2026 regulates the Single Debt Certificate, consolidating in one electronic document the state credits managed by the Revenue and Planning Department and the debts registered as active debt under the State Attorney General’s Office. Issuance is free of charge through the SIDEB portal, and legal entities may obtain it under the CNPJ base number, covering headquarters and branches, for proof of good standing in public tenders, credit transactions and administrative proceedings. It is valid for 90 days, or 180 days for taxpayers enrolled in the Positive Tax Registry, and takes effect on 15 October 2026.
