Under the official schedule released by the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (ANPD), August 2026 marks the beginning of phase II of the implementation and monitoring of the age-verification solutions required by the Digital Child Protection Statute, in force since March 17, 2026. The new phase extends supervision to additional groups of providers, according to the risk level of each digital service.
