Petrobras launches market consultation for RWI Project on P-74 and P-75 Platforms

Petrobras has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the RWI (Remote Work Interface) Project, which involves offshore works on the P-74 and P-75 platforms in the Búzios field, Santos Basin.

The RWI project aims to integrate a new control module, responsible for operating subsea equipment, with the topside facilities of both platforms. The scope includes installation of new structural supports, electrical, hydraulic, and telecommunications interconnections, chemical injection systems, and modifications to existing platform structures, as well as the construction of a new cargo area on the FPSOs.

Execution will take place in two phases per platform: a Preparation Phase, covering physical modifications, cabling, and structural work, and a Commissioning Phase, involving lifting, integration, and testing of the control module and chemical injection systems. Petrobras will supply part of the materials, such as valves, pumps, and high-voltage cables.

The contracting strategy combines unit price and lump-sum components, designed to balance risk and ensure well-defined deliverables.

While not a formal bidding process, the RFI serves as a market consultation to identify qualified engineering and construction companies capable of executing offshore works, structural modifications, and integration activities under Petrobras’s RWI program.

Our firm provides comprehensive legal and advisory support to companies seeking to participate in public and private procurement processes, including Requests for Information (RFI) and subsequent bidding phases.
