Brazil’s National Development Bank (BNDES) announced an expansion of resources allocated to the Nova Indústria Brasil (NIB) program to R$300 billion by the end of 2026, in the presence of Vice-President Geraldo Alckmin and the Ministers of Finance and Industry. The program coordinates financing, tax incentives, and subsidized credit for industrial modernization, technological innovation, and ecological transition, focusing on strategic sectors such as semiconductors, bioeconomy, health, and defense.
