The Board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) rejected Enel Distribuicao Sao Paulo’s motion for reconsideration against the denial of an external technical examination in the administrative proceeding seeking forfeiture of its concession, opened after the extreme weather events of December 2025. The Agency deemed the evidence unnecessary under Law No. 9,784/1999 and closed the evidentiary phase.
