Brazil’s National Cybersecurity Committee (CNCiber), linked to the Presidency’s Institutional Security Office, created, through CNCiber Resolution No. 19, published on June 22, 2026 in the Official Gazette, a thematic working group to pilot the Brazilian Cyber-Maturity Assessment Model (Cimbra). The six-month group brings together representatives from federal ministries, telecom regulator Anatel, the Central Bank, and business and academic entities such as Conexis/Brasscom, FGV and CPqD.
